StepMania/DDR. I am too old and tired to keep dancing. Kidding!!! No, I am not.

Well, I have not written a game post in a while, I think it is due.
I have been playing Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) since the first version of the arcade came out and most of the iterations that came after (Yes, I am that old)
I remember that when I was studying an emulator for DDR came out and I was ecstatic. I could create my own songs and steps, play my favorites from the arcade and even change the voice of the announcer; ohh those forgotten years.
Fast forward to 2025, and my wife gifted me the most amazing present I could ever imagine, a hardcore DDR Mat and oh boy does it really works like the arcade.
So, let's set you too with your own StepMania/DDR emulator and show you how much fun you will have too.
History
A brief history of DDR.

"Dance Dance Revolution (ダンスダンスレボリューション, Dansu Dansu Reboryūshon) (DDR) is a music video game series produced by Konami. Introduced in Japan in 1998 as part of the Bemani series, and released in North America and Europe in 1999, Dance Dance Revolution is the pioneering series of the rhythm and dance genre in video games. Players stand on a "dance platform" or stage and hit colored arrows laid out in a cross with their feet to musical and visual cues. Players are judged by how well they time their dance to the patterns presented to them and are allowed to choose more music to play to if they receive a passing score."
